Great win today, so pleased for Conor. I see that Coventry had over 28,000 for their game against Accrington. Impressive that. They broke our record of 18,746 against Northampton a couple of years back.

Very impressive hats off to them but for me the only record is palace's of 37774 getting a bit fed up of these new records since restructuring of the divisions they mean nothing. Premier championship league 1 league 2 are still just div 1 2 3 and 4 and records from these eras are slowly being erased from memory and it doesn't sit right with me its brainwashing by msm the plastic premier and the new plastic football league .

seem to remember us having 23k or thereabouts in Frank Burrows' time as manager in the bottom tier. but the Palace crowd is amazing and totally agree about the whitewashing of all the proper records in favour of the plastic prem and the oily, unctuous league boss. (Football league, NOT EFL!)

How many Cov fans turned up last home game and how many next week when they stop giving handouts?

Bradford get higher crowds than us due to the markedly reduced prices but their gate income is much lower cos of the huge mark down. False economy. Higher policing costs etc. Then again maybe they sell more ginsters.

Notts County got 17000+ last week as it was made 2 a ticket for all home and away fans. Let's see how many they get next home game.

Attendances are always a bit deceiving when there is a special promotion/freebies being handed out.

They are also a bit deceiving now as clubs tend to just go on amount of tickets sold rather than bodies through the gates. If 1000 season ticket holders didn't turn up one game they still get counted.

That being said, was there really 8000 Mk fans there yesterday?

personally I would prefer all us non prem clubs support each other in any attempt to attract fans (especially youngsters) to real football rather than the over priced plastic version
