Week 2. Six nations predictions
Ireland vs Italy.
Conor O'Shea vs Joe Schmidt.
As much as I enjoyed Italy's prolonged challenge to England in Rome on the opening weekend, they now have to travel to Dublin.
I just think that England sapped them and drained their energy and that the aerial assault which will make them turn coming from sexton' boot and the running game Ireland will bring will leave them needing the break period to follow.
Ireland 40 - 6 Italy.

England vs Wales
Gaitland says Wales enjoy playing at twickenham. Yeh, about as much as England enjoy the millennium.
It's always good when you win away.
But I don't expect this here.
Englands accuracy and ruthlessness in scoring positions is better than that of Wales.
Wales will try to get around England on the wings after drawing in the English defence to the middle.
England will score from all areas but the 10-12 axis of Farrell and Ford will expose the Welsh as they tire.
England 31 - 22 Wales

Scotland vs France
The scots with their ego's hanging out of their XXXXXXs will either play out of fear or be frozen by it.
If it's the former, I expect France who pay no one respect could be well beaten.
If it's the latter, France will get their championship underway.
I'm guessing that it will be the former as this game is the wild card game of week 2.

Scotland 25-14 France

Week 2. Six nations predictions

Ireland 56-19 Italy

I thought Ireland would rack some points up and they did.
Taking their foot off the gas Italy at least made it respectable.

On to the BIG ONE!

Week 2. Six nations predictions

Phew. Thank God that's over. Not often we get luck but we were lucky.

Seems we have a lucky manager!

Week 2. Six nations predictions

Eng 12-6 Wales
May with two great tries. Englands defence contained Wales who never gave up.
The best side won - simples'

Week 2. Six nations predictions

Which would've been a different game then. England may have gone for more points rather than defending the at the Welsh 22 for 7 minutes within gaining 3 metres over 21 phases of play?!
But instead we saw them game out through great management.

Scotland returned to winning ways although I was more interested in France's opfn play and off loading. A return to 'their' style beckoned but so to, 'their' deficiencies.

I saw nothing that could worry England from either of them.
