Solid Win and 3pts

Didn't sound like we played to our best but we've got awful history playing lesser sides in the league at FP. So, I'll take that any day.

Shame Peterborough beat Bradford away keeping us out the play off spot. The up side of this is it, draws Bradford closer to us and out of the two I think their the weaker.

Everything to play for PUP. [^]

We could do with a few more goals but as you say, it was a solid win and 3 more points in the bag. Bradford and Charlton losing was good (it's a shame Bradford were playing Peterborough though), hopefully it'll dent their confidence.
This has been a very good season so far given most of our preseason predictions and could well get better [^]

Good to see Close get a goal. There was some chat from Kenny about getting goals from midfield so looks like it's sinking in.

We were far from our best today but fortunately Wimbledon were also poor. It was good to see Close score, hopefully we will see more goals from different players.

What do you think of your 5-2 flogging scummer?

Difficult conditions but a hard graft performance brought the points. I thought Evans played well today and would have been my MOM. Close and Rose solid again. Not sure I could agree with Pitman being MOM. I thought he was non-existent until playing deeper late in the game.

Very satisfying win. I felt they were the better side for the first half hour and McDonald and Barchan in particular looked well up for it.

The goal came at a crucial time for us. Agreed with the other poster, obviously Close and Evans have taken on board the need for midfield to contribute with goals.

The goal gave us confidence and it was a far better second half from us.

Can't complain about their own, my first view was it was a stone Waller.

But in the end a very satisfying 2-1 which I think was about right for the game

I didn't think much of Wimbledon, but stronger than Bury and Plymouth. I also didn't feel we were threatened very much, and had the lions share of the ball throughout the game.

Anyone who likes the bbc possession stats, but didn't go, wouldn't realise that most of the ball they had, was passing between the back 4 (where we didn't press them in great enough numbers to panic them).

I can't remember McGee making a save?

At the moment we seem to concentrate on keeping our shape and being hard to play through, which means going forward we play in small groups rather than numbers, and in patches.

Chances wise, we had a couple of crosses cut out for Pitman, 3 Evans shots, a Lowe half shot that nearly rebounded back to him, Chaplin shot saved and the two goals.

Having played everyone now and a 50% win ratio, you have to say its a good job from KJ and the team so far.

3 or 4 quality players, either this window or the summer, and you could see us pushing for promotion.

3pts against Northampton coming up. Would be nice to do it in style but don't care how we get them.

Think we might see a few changes Kennedy for Lowe, Hawkins for Chaplin.
