Ten things we learnt at Blackpool

1. Mc Gee is a decent keeper
2. Hawkins is a Stones like centre half, good distribution, but keep your eye on him.
3. Pitman doesn't do much but if he stays clear of injury will end up with 25 goals this season
4. Close is much maligned, and still doesn't do enough penetrative passing, but is neat and tidy and looks the part more and more
5. Danny Rose is probably as good as O'Keefe, so we can send him back to Cardiff.
6. Naismith has silky touches and a fine delivery. Him and Kennedy on together could be very interesting (sorry jamal, but your time will come).
7. We should have a proper left back - bring back Haunstrup.
8. Burgess and Clarke, our best defenders, both poor on the first goal - not used to the position?
9. Gareth Evans is fine at right back and provides attacking thrust down that wing.
10. Can't think of the 10th one.....[:O]

10. If your buddy can't think of ten it must be time to sack him.

But taking your points seriously for a moment (god knows why), I'd agree with the first 4, but ...
5. Could equally well be Rose is no better than O'Keefe.
6. Jamal Lowe winning the ball back led to our first goal and he is more than worth his place. Dropping him when he is playing so well to play someone out of position in his place makes no sense. But playing Naismith rather than Bennett might be idea if Naismith is ready to perform again.
7. Haunstrup was poor at Luton which is presumably why Jackett tried Clarke there.
9. Evans is not fine defensively. Proven again yesterday by him losing Solomon for their first goal. Thompson is many times better than him at right back.

I am inclined to agree with you Deep, is spite of my partners claims. I think Evans is better going forward than Thompson, but less defensively for sure.
May and Rose are no worse than O’Keefe. We have yet to see Donahue in the midfield which is his favoured position.
Haunstrup was doing fine until he was binned when McCrory arrived. Should get another chance, great left foot.

Kloggyrudipete, are you that starved for friends that you make believe your different personalities are different people or are you mad and really believe it? [:D]

Evans has got found out defensively whenever we've come up against a good attack..he is better going forward then Thompson but thompson has still chipped in with a few assist
