As with other sides in this league such as Fleetwood, Oxford and even Wigan. How are they able to garner their squads?
What is the rule governing expenditure in this league.
Fleetwood's league attendance is pitiful and both Wigan and Oxford get half the gates we do. Don't get me started about Bury's.
They have signed a lot of big players for this league and must be flouting the expenditure law of this league.
Is this just risk taking or are these sides just working in the black?
Finding out we must pick up THD's wages bill is simply bad management on our behalf. Someone must carry the can for that.
I wonder what funds are available and what calibre of player we are capable of pulling in at present?
Mr Eisner with any luck will be releasing details of his ambitions for fratton and the timescale involved.
So much to potentially look forward to. I just hope we learn of its details soon.
Don't get me wrong, we must work within our budget but I do wonder just how competitive we are compared to others in this league ?

Having to fund THD's wages isn't down to bad management,it's the rules when you sign a player on a season long loan. The 'selling' club can ask for a fee and contribution ( a percentage) of his wages to be paid. Just because he got injured he is still registered to us for the season therefore we are bound to pay his wages (or whatever percentage was agreed). The same will apply to Luke McGee.

Expect Pompey had an agreement that they would pay a percentage of his wages if injury should occur, as they did with Smith before he signed permanently.
We went wrong signing him after his loan and now paying his wages fully?

We do stick to subjects we're allowed to Ginge, read the rules thread and you'll see there's very little that's off limits. If you don't like it then fvck off to a site that's more to you're liking.

Most clubs are losing money and carried by a sugar daddy. Newport did well until their owner who had won the lottery got fed up funding the losses. Then they plummeted. Likewise York City.
Wigan have been propped up by money from their long term owner. How else could they afford Powell?

There's bivalves clinging to seaweed fronds in Southampton Water that know more about football than Spewdibeans.

'Leave him alone he doesn't do football.'

...and you don't do debate.

I wish you would sometimes but it just isn't you. It's a shame but then you counter the trolls pretty well, so you're forgiven. 😘
