I see some fans have questioned where the money will go if shareholders are happy not to receive it for their shares
What about getting Mr Esner to pay the money to Pompey in the community
That way you would have helped save the club and now will be doing a second thing as I hear Pompey in Community do great things Helping youngsters the boys clubs and maybe those less fortunate. It would be good for the Pompey brand and as I understand not reinvested into PFC
Could be two fantastic gestures made by yourselves in recent years

If Eisner's buys all the shares his money will go to the Trust in respect of its 48.8%. If individual shareholders don't want their grand back they need to notify the PST. PIC would be an obvious and worth recipient.

Unfortunately the Tesco money belongs to the club and will become the property of Eisner if he is successful in buying the club.
So basically he gets cash back straight away.
But it can only be used on the infrastructure of the club.
But it still saves him spending his own money.

Why wouldn't shareholders want their grand back?

The club was saved, which was what the money was for. If the club is being taken over by a billionaire, I'm sure people would rather have their money back.
