Prospective Pompey owner Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim visited Fratton Park publicly for the first time today and met with fans.

Although he gave little away in terms of his plans for the club, until the due diligence process is complete, Executive Chairman Peter Storrie revealed that he was impressed with the Doc's knowledge of the club. Article continues here...

“We must remember we are in a period of due diligence but Sulaiman al Fahim enjoyed the time he spent at Fratton Park which is encouraging," Storrie told the official site.

“Sulaiman al Fahim saw the ground and surprised me with his knowledge of the Pompey squad.

“He was also keen to speak with some of our long standing supporters and spent half an hour listening to their views.

“I think he was impressed with what he saw and heard and he has a terrific enthusiasm that matches what our fans feel.” The full story can be read here.
