Pompey taken over by Arab property tycoon?

Pompey have been taken over by a United Arab Emirates businessman according to reports in the Middle East.

The arabianbusiness.com website is reporting that Sulaiman Al Fahim a property tycoon and UN Goodwill Ambassador is putting the finishing touches to the deal this week.

He is appraently meeting current owner Alexandre Gaydamak while taking in the Champions' League final in Rome to put the finishing touches to the deal.

Al Fahim also has links to the Abu Dhabi United group who took over Manchester City lats summer.
