A 91st minute Joe Mattock header condemned Pompey to a heart-breaking 1-0 loss at Rotherham.

It was a cruel blow for a Pompey side which had seemingly weathered the home side's second half storm.

After a first-half which Pompey controlled, withour really opening up the home side, Rotherham were a changed side after the break.

A series of set pieces often had the Pompey defence on action stations but goalkeeper Luke McGhee didn't really have a save to make.

Pompey also had three or four decent openings themselves on the break, but wasteful shooting from Jamal Lowe and Matty Kennedy, when they might have set up better-placed colleagues, came back to haunt the Blues in stoppage time.
