New Pompey signing Erik Huseklepp has completed his move to Pompey and is looking forward to saturday's match iwth Bristol City, provided the paperwork is done in time.

The club are awaiting international clearance, but Huseklepp has already trained with his new team-mates on Thursday.

'It's very nice to have in place here,' he told the Norwegian newspaper BA. 'It seems like a very good club and I have been very well received by both coaches and players.

'I have always hoped for a chance to play football in England once, and now I get the chance.

'I travel with the team [to Bristol] but the club must have submitted all the paperwork and such. I hope I get the chance to take part,' he added.

The 27-year-old has cost around £1.7 million and Pompey fought off competition from the likes of Celtic to secure his signature. Huseklepp is reported to have signed a three-year deal.
