Storrie: Pompey hope to tie up 'three or four' new players soon

Pompey Chief Executive peter Storrie has revealed that the club hopes to tie up three or four of they transdfer targets soon.

After the takeover 'in principle' by Sulaiman Al Fahim was agreed, with him taking on the role as Chairman, Storrie told pfctv that the club had around seven targets in mind.

He also hinted that new manager Paul Hart might want to still sell one or two players 'for tactical reasons.


'There are some players Paul would still like to sell for tactical reasons to change the team around a bit but we have around seven targets at the moment,' he said.

'We had players lined up. We're very close and certainly would expect to conclude three or four fairly quickly,' he added.
