Benjani linked with move ... but it's not to Pompey

Former Pompey striker Benjani has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Hull City.

The Zimbawe international is currently in South Africa with his present club Manchester City, who are now overloaded with strikers.

Reports in France suggest that Benjani could be about to join Hull on loan.


Benjani has also been linked with Stoke City this summer, as well as with a nostaligic return to Fraton Park.

Benjani joined Pompey in January 2006 and soon became a cult hero. He was sold to Manchester City two years later in a deal which paved the way for Jermain Defoe to sign
