Pompey have signed a three-year deal with Portsmouth printing company Bishops to print their match-day programme.

The company already prints programmes for Chelsea, Fulham, Charlton and Crystal Palace and they now have their home-town team back under its wing.

Bishops Printers have also announced they are to print the Arsenal programme from next season too.

The work is expected to add £1m to the company's current £12m turnover.

To cope with the new work, Bishops intend invest £500,000 in new machienry and the company is also considering adding two numbering machines to individually number each programme.

Bishops were printers of the Portsmouth programme between 1995 and 2002.
