Having been brought up on a diet of At The Drive In and Refused, you'll probably be surprised to discover that Dry The River's music has more in common with nu-folk heavy weights Mumford & Sons, Fleet Foxes and Noah & The Whale.

Debut single 'New Ceremony' was released on Transgressive (Foals, Mystery Jets, Pulled Apart by Horses, The Shins etc) on March 7th and has already been heavily backed by Radio 1 and XFM.


They've been garnering quite a reputation for their passionate live shows and have played alongside acts including Two Door Cinema Club, Johnny Flynn, Paloma Faith, Plan B and The Magic Numbers. Having had a busy 2010 festival season playing Glastonbury (BBC Introducing), Big Chill and Standon Calling, they recently wowed the Texan crowds at South By South West. Don't miss this chance to see them in the intimate surroundings of Westgarth 2. This time next year, they'll be playing venues ten times this size. FACT!


They've recently been announced for the John Peel Stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival and big, big, big things are expected of these loveable rogues in 2011.


Support comes from two brand new bands performing their very first gigs - By Toutatis (ex-Idiot Savant, folky post-rock trio named after Asterix's catchphrase) and Algiers (ex-Dartz/The Maple State, Weakerthans influenced indie-rock from Sheffield for fans of early Death Cab For Cutie.)
