Having recently come third in the BBC's "Sound Of 2010" poll, DELPHIC are tipped to be big news and it's easy to see why. Judge for yourself next week when they play at Teesside Uni, non students welcome.

Thu 4 March : Delphic + Chew Lips @ The Hub : Teesside Uni SU in Middlesbrough : 7.30pm : 14+ : £9 adv

Beaten by only Ellie Goulding and Marina & The Diamonds in the aforementioned poll of respected music critics, Delphic's euphoric mix of indie guitars and hypnotic electro has seen them earn comparisons to the likes of New Order, Doves, Chemical Brothers and Bloc Party.

They've toured with acts as diverse as Orbital and Kasabian and have been picking up plethora of plaudits from those in the know:

"The 1st great album of 2010" - NME

"Destined to be MASSIVE" – Zane Lowe

"Resistance is futile" – The Guardian

Support comes from South London dance pop trio CHEW LiPS.

Tickets on sale now from SU Bar, Rocket Vintage, Steven James Guitars,  &  for £9

Everybody welcome! Non students are 100% OK to attend. 14+ welcome, but bring photo ID and 18+ bring photo ID for bar service.
