Notts County got another lesson in football from top of the table Wycombe this week to follow their weekend hammering by the Daggers.

Following an uneventful first half, County’s Jonathan Forte lost concentration shortly after the restart and Balanta capitalised, giving the ball to Matt Harrold who put the ball in the net for his sixth goal in four games.

Jamie Forrester and Mike Edwards came closest for County, both with headed efforts but Lewis Spence wrapped up yet another win for Wycombe on sixty-five minutes.

Notts County: Hoult, Mayo, Edwards, Thompson, Clapham, Neal, Strachan, Butcher, Forrester (Weir-Daley 71), Facey, Forte.
