Well the flags are out, the shirts are on and the Euro's are underway. With England expectation as low as ever, this could be England's year!

Roy Hodgson leads the Three Lions out in his first major tournament since taking over from Fabio Capello. The new boss hasn't had an easy start to his job, with high profile players being ruled out of the tournament through injury; not to mention the whole Rio Ferdinand debate that has hung over Hodgson's head ever since he chose Kelly over Ferdinand.

England kick off their tournament with a group game against France. France are currently on an unbeaten run that has stretched to 21 games. Benzima and Ribery lead the attack, with Toon favourites Yohan Cabaye in line for a start, and Hatem Ben Arfa looking to make an appearance.

I hope you enjoy the game, and we can hopefully all be celebrating come Monday evening.

Come on England!
