A few months ago I posted on here about a book I was working on about Juninho's time at Middlesbrough. That book now has a publisher and my first draft is going to them next month.

As the book's sub-title is 'How Middlesbrough Fell in Love with Juninho', I wanted to dedicate a chapter to fans' thoughts/memories/feelings about The Little Fellah.

I've love to hear your opinions, so please do post below or email me at dmbroome@hotmail.com (ideally with your name, location, how long you've been a Boro fan etc) if you're happy for your comments to be used in print.

Many thanks for your time and I look forward to reading your messages!

THE LITTLE FELLA: Who loved him?
My overiding memory of watching him play at his best was the sense of anticipation that would permeate throughout the crowd e every time he receive the ball. As he would turn and start to run you would see the crowd first edging forward in their seats, then beginning to rise to their feet in expectation. It seemed like the only way to stop him was to foul him and the sight of him riding over the potential carnage of desperate lunges was a delight.
He had the same effect on most of his team mates too pushing them to believe anything was a possibility.
