Covid vaccine
Anyone think it'll work when it's ready for distribution? Let's hope it's not like the flu vaccine from 2018 which according to the US CDC wasn't very good...

In recent years, flu-related deaths have ranged from about 12,000 to — in the worst year — 56,000, according to the CDC.

Last fall and winter, the U.S. went through one of the most severe flu seasons in recent memory. It was driven by a kind of flu that tends to put more people in the hospital and cause more deaths, particularly among young children and the elderly.

The season peaked in early February. It was mostly over by the end of March, although some flu continued to circulate.

Making a bad year worse, the flu vaccine didn’t work very well. Experts nevertheless say vaccination is still worth it, because it makes illnesses less severe and save lives.

“I’d like to see more people get vaccinated,” Redfield told the AP at an event in New York. “We lost 80,000 people last year to the flu.”

CDC officials do not have exact counts of how many people die from flu each year. Flu is so common that not all flu cases are reported, and flu is not always listed on death certificates. So the CDC uses statistical models, which are periodically revised, to make estimates. Fatal complications from the flu can include pneumonia, stroke and heart attack.

Covid vaccine
Many years have been spent on a flu vaccine that by all accounts does next to nothing,
Covid19 has been here 6 months, a vaccine that probably will do next to nothing is quite away away .
Someone Might as well relabel paracetamol as covidomol now and make a fortune [:D]

Covid vaccine
Been having the Flu vaccine for 20 years.

Haven't had Flu.[^]

I'll happily have the Covid vaccine.
And then things will get back to normal.
And be shelved as another preventable illness the same as Flu, Pneumonia, Rubella, Measles, Mumps, Polio, Hepatitis..................

Covid vaccine
Let’s wait until the vaccines are analysed independently.
Why would anyone trust pharmaceutical companies who have a free license to rush release vaccines with no civil liability or comeback. First one out of the traps makes the most money.

AstraZeneca have allegedly had two spinal swelling issues with their trial. God knows what else.
Also a whistleblower has come forward and suggested some rather sinister infertility additions.
These need independently testing before they are released to the public as a matter of urgency

Covid vaccine
I am currently overseas working on a COVID vaccine facility. Our vaccine is coming out with very favourable results in the vaccine trials.

By December we should be able to 1bn vaccines per year.

In terms of making money, well we’ve decided not to patent the vaccine until the pandemic is over. That means we will allow anyone to manufacture our vaccine free of charge as this allows a quicker global distribution to fight the virus. Once the pandemic is over we will then patent it so it it sold exclusively by us.
