Probably not going to break any new ground from what everybody else is saying.

We've watched this team and these performances. We knew where this was going.

Today's decision is the right one and gives us the best chance to arrest that catastrophe.

For all that I still feel sorry for him because I really wanted it to work. That doesn't mean it shouldn't have happened. I'm actually surprised it did - we know how stubborn Gibson is

But the prospect of League One with no supporters in the ground until Dec/Jan at the earliest and then to watch Fleetwood or Shrewsbury? I said we'd get 12k and got laughed at for optimism.

Woody's heritage, history and shortness of tenure protected him until it didn't. The performances against Sheff Wed, Barnsley, Luton, Leeds, Birmingham and Swansea could each have got a manager the sack singularly - but collectively? It would be a shock if they weren't sacked.

Yes, players haven't performed but has the strongest XI and formation been given the chance to perform?

As for Colin - I can see us surviving now but let's get to the end of the season, see what sort of squad we've got and what the budget is. A six weeks firefight is one thing for a 71 year old; a two/three year rebuild is another.
