Well worth a listen and had plenty of good things to say about the club, the town and the fans.
On a sour note, the club, particularly Keith Lamb, screwed him over massively with the contract offer/transfer fee.

I was very surprised we never signed him after his loan season.

He was superb in what has been a problem position over the years (apart from Luke Young...who we sold after one season[sad])

That said he joined us on loan to get him off the wage bill. So I guess he was on a few quid.

I spoke to him at the Tall Trees Carling Cup Club dinner (had a box then so got a table).
I asked him if he was signing, he said he really really wanted to, but I would have to ask Mr Laaaaaamb. It was clear he was extremely irritated by Keith Lamb and the contract process.
So we went out and signed the useless Reiziger instead, who left Barca because he was absolutely finished. A big mistake.

He got it back when he managed to screw a 4 year contract out of Man City when Keegan wanted him to move to Manchester from Harrogate they said they'd rent him a flat if he stayed there so he got an extra year's contract ended up been injured for last 2 years
