My two lads have gone from seeing their Nana four times a week to nothing for the last 7 weeks... itís your torture for both sides.

She is in the at risk group so the distancing is going to be even longer

The only saving grace is she is lined up for babysitting once the danger passes.

My Mrs can only see her grandson through the window as he's got asthma. He's in for 12 weeks as recommended. I can't see my daughter as she lives with her mum. She's 20 but I still miss her. We are all ok which is the main thing.

Our grandaughter is 10 months. We both finding it really hard at the moment but console ourselves in the knowledge that it is for the best and that we will be doing endless amounts of babysitting when this horrible situation is over.

A long story, but just to put things into perspective I have a 3 year old grand daughter who I have never seen. Not even once through no fault of my own.

Tough on you all though.

Yes and miss them like mad like others have commented. 7 weeks now. Facetimes a godsend but obviously doesn't compensate for the real thing. We are making these difficult sacrifices for all the right reasons. After speaking on the phone the other evening my 4 year grandaughter said, " Love you Grandad. Will see you again soon after the germs have gone "
That really got me.[|)]

Thanks brattleboro.

Just one of many family issues going on for many years. Never seen many of them for 20 years or more. A black sheep of the family scenario. I could write numerous books on my family train wreck, but that's the last thing I want to do.

Life is amazing, but can also be dreadful. Bit like our beloved Boro.

Yep, twin four year olds and haven't seen em for six weeks. Miss the little hooligans like heck and face timing etc is just not the same.

My grandson was a year old in March. I haven't seen him up close or held him for almost 3 months.

I get photos and videos and that's my lot. The worst of it is I fear this may go on for a couple of years.

Not where I live. Both neighbours each side regularly have grandchildren round at least 3 time a week and then on weekends for tea/dinner. One of the neighbours works for the NHS 😞
