Guess who gets the credit for his development?

So?

The obsession with Pulis and his development is weird.

Pulis was absolutely detested by most fans at most of the last 4 of his clubs.

Hanging on to stuff like this is just odd.

I listen to a couple of footie podcasts and he gets a lot of love from the ex-pros

Pulis did do a good job with him. He just did a pretty poor job in most other ways.

That article is actually really complimentary to Pulis crediting him getting the initial turnaround and then Wolves refining it more which is a pretty fair assessment.

Talented lad needed experience and games under his belt.

Karanka didn't have a clue, Monk was absolutely atrocious and Pullis had a world class talent in the Championship.

His time had come and I think Nuno managed him best of all.

For what it's worth people thought I was crazy when I suggested playing Traore as a wing back.. [8D]

A rehash of an article in the Times on 3 Jan including the Pulis' guff.

Whatever you think of Pulis, and I'm not a fan of his time as Boro manager, he definitely brought on Traore

The difference in his performance (output) was remarkable. Tony running down the line shouting ideas and encouragement, and giving him confidence was pretty obvious to see

Whoever allowed the buyout clause in the contract is to blame for us not keeping hold of him for at least one more half season

Traore getting a run in the side brought the best out of him. Pulis gave him the run but he didn't have to do anything special. Traore is a phenom. He has skills that attributes that nobody else does. Just let him get on with it, especially in the championship, and he will make things happen. Pulis is claiming credit for something that would have happened anyway.

Tony Pulis has made Traore.

No way would he play g for wolves without Pulis's guidence

Pulis was superb for Traore.

Pulis would have had us in the Play offs this season. But if you don't like his football then that's fair enough.

If we had kept him we would be in Champions League places now and probably have won it next year. The stadium would be full every week with only tickets available if you won a lottery.

Traore would never have left and Neymar would have signed so he could improve his game. Woodgate would have stayed and cleaned Tonys shoes with his tongue but only after Tony had been though wades of dog sh!t.

Tony Tony pleas come back and bring all those other world class players you have worked with, but haven't. Oh please Tony.

'Pulis was superb for Traore'

More like Karanka was terrible for Traore.
