Wonder how Sky will try to make it sound exciting given Liverpool are going to win it sometime in late Feb/March?

No Liverpool game is exciting anymore.
Foregone conclusion that they're going to win.

Donít think Liverpool will care one bit, we would be the same if we ran away with the championship.

Down to the opposition to up their game.

Itís nearly February and the team at the top of the Premier has only dropped 2 points.

Thatís a league in crisis.

Winning again, what a shock.

16 points clear with a game in hand, thrilling...

Strange post from you Ben. What do you want them to do? Lose a few games so they can let the rest catch up?

Given they'd need to lose 5+ games or draw 8+ with Man City winning every single game in that time just to catch up, it wouldn't matter.

They've completely dominated the division this season, it's a very impressive achievement but I'm not going to pretend it's exciting that the title race has been effectively over since November.

Alls I know Ben is if we were offered that Boro would romp the championship at a canter next year we would take it and thoroughly enjoy every minute of it [^]

It's an impressive, enviable trait they have in that they can win even when they're not at their best.

As good as they are, it's their professionalism that is keeping this run going.

We certainly would enjoy every minute of it. It would however, bore the pants off every other football fan in the country.

Championship is not a done deal. Most competitive League in Europe.

Obviously we would, every fan of every team would take it.

But I'm not a Liverpool fan, and for a neutral it's rubbish entertainment.
Last season was entertaining because both Man City and Liverpool were matching each other blow for blow till the end of the season.
This season it's done and dusted before the Christmas decorations even went up.

Itís not about Liverpool or Boro.

Itís about having a competitive league which is enjoyable for everybody to follow.

When I was a kid a different team every year won the league and nobody dominated to the extent that they just won every game.

It may be good for Liverpool this season but the game is dying a death at the top level, isnít that obvious?

Whoís fault is it though? Certainly not Liverpoolís.

Man City have had an extensive amount of resources.
Man Utd have spent a fortune too.

They should be up there, challenging making it competitive. My god theyíve had the money to do so.

Plenty of bag average sides in the prem. I agree it's not what they advertise as being this amazing entity.

You basically have 2 sides trying to win the league. Then 2 others looking to get into the champions league like its 'winning a cup'.

You could argue that every team apart from the top 6 just want 40 points and stay up. This is at the detriment to the cups.

I don't watch half as many games as I used to despite having sky sports.
