Don't want to bang on. But Traore today.......

Wolves 2 nil down at Southampton today.

Went on to win 2-3.

Traore was immense.
Two brilliant assists.

I think we're seeing more or less the finished article now.

He's going to be some player and hugely sought after that lad.

We'll see the finished article when he moves to a big club and plays with even better players week in week out.

We love getting carried away on this board.

"Two brilliant assists"

The first was a ball played behind the striker who did well to get it under control and turn with the aid of it bouncing off his midriff.

I like adama, he's exciting to watch and has some unbelievable moments. But he's got a long long way to go.

If he's the finished article now Dibzz, he wont be getting a move to a big club for £80m as he still needs to improve.

4 goals, 6 assists in 22 games isn't actually that great is it?

Good luck to the lad tho.

I said more or less the finished article.

His balls into the box are far better.
Something he couldn't do at Boro.

And yes, both brilliant assists.
Took it on himself, no one else was.

Totally carved out the two chances out of nowt and two intelligent balls for the finish.

Granted the first one needed a bit of close control, but this is Premiership football, you make the most of what you get, and the Las made the most of it.

The second was very impressive, obviously in front of everyone because of his pace, but had the vision to realise this and played it back for the oncoming striker.

Still, Boro fans refuse to acknowledge it.

2 nil down at half time.

Won 2-3

It was mostly down to one player how they turned that around.

Without his influence, zero points.

Even Barca are sniffing.

ď4 goals, 6 assists in 22 games isn't actually that great is it?ď

Yeah, it is.

Heís scoring or assisting, every other game, despite being double or triple marked, and not even in a top 4 side.

The fact heís double or triple marked will also massively improve the stats of others, as they will have more space, and seeing as itís a team game, the importance of this is fundamental.

You could put 11 men on Messi, and he wouldnít score or assist, but the rest of the team would get 30 goals per game. In that game, Messi would have had the most impact on the win, not the other players scoring 30 open goals.

Dibzzz, nowhere, absolutely nowhere have I said he's not a very good player. Your defence mechanism is obviously routed in your mind.

Jack Greilish has better stats playing for a team in the bottom 3. Just saying like.

He is a star

Was obvious and some (a little) credit to Pulis as he helped his development

Karanka had him too early for the prem league and Monk was not good enough to use him effectively

Good luck to him - he will be a top Champs league player

I think the point is that if Adama had been a £100m player he would never have been at Middlesbrough.

But a good few on this forum spotted that he could do extraordinary things on the pitch and focussed on that when assessing his potential.

Whereas others could only seem to see the things, at the time, that he wasnít so good at and completely wrote him off.

I donít think anybody could argue now that he isnítnheading for the very top and is probably already the best in the world in his position.

Sell-on clauses and release clauses are mutually exclusive - he had a release clause.
