protesting again.

current owners have them in the premier league.
they were tenth in net spend and I certainly don't see them as asset stripping the club in previous seasons.
they moved them to a much bigger new stadium, paid for by the taxpayer, gaining a deal so favourable its been investigated by the authorities.

what a bunch of ungrateful XXXXXXs. they make the geordies seem reasonable.

I think a lot of the hate is towards leaving Upton Park still. Owners pocketed the sales money and picked up a dodgy deal for an athletics stadium. Needs knocking down and rebuilding that.

Don't particularly like West Ham, or their fans, but it's not for the fans of any other club to knock fans of another club about protesting.

'... it's not for the fans of any other club to knock fans of another club about protesting.'

I think that there'll be many fans who will disagree with this ridiculous comment.

Don't get me wrong I think their fans are XXXXXXs, but if they want to protest (particuarly about that stupid ground and the dildo salesman) they can feel free. If they feel like they're losing their club then fair enough.

Am I right in thinking that as long as they don't get relegated before 2021, they can keep even more of the taxpayers cash.

They being, the dildo brothers and Karen Brady.

I still can't believe that they got the ground for next to nothing off the taxpayer. Maybe brady being a top tory had something to do with it.

It stinks.

I bet most West ham fans can see right through that trio of chancers.

Shows how lucky we are to have gibbo

F_P ... yes. the move isn't going well. London club fans know that it is all about property deals; not the fans, not the club.

I saw a whole load of Brentfod comments last week. This is a recent comment on their development:

"Councillors raised concerns about the fact there was no affordable housing included in the scheme, which they were told was because the cost of the new stadium meant this was not financially viable."

Crystal Palace and Charlton would do the same if they can stay local.

A West Ham friend of mine; 3rd generation ST holder, wouldn't renew for the move. Yes, only one, but even Hammers fans come in different guises.

Heard on talksport they have 50k waiting list for tickets or something. Plenty of plastic fans who will drop like flies when they playing rotherham or hull next year.

I really really hate West Ham (not that much, as apparently I bought them a stadium with my council tax) but they seem to get away with so much that other teams wouldn’t. Carlos Tevez anyone?

Actually they do have a point

expensive ticket prices, moved from their home of 100 years to move to an athletics stadium on the cheap with the worst atmosphere of any ground in the country.

for west ham fans the club is less about winning and more about identity connected to family rooted east end roots. They are easy to mock my mates do it but I understand how XXXXXXed of they are, 39 years without a tropthy and owners with zero ambition.
