Completely clueless. 3 wins in 19.

Heís been given a hard job with little backing from Gibson. The job is just too big for him and I have no doubt in my mind that a manager with more experience would have us on more points.

Make the change now before itís too late Gibbo.

Thatís all Iím saying

well edited........facts are facts however the 4 teams below us have lost at least 3 more games than us to......it does not look to good at the moment ,may be we do need a change in management but we do not have the money to spend on one ...so we will just sally along and just hope we finish outside the bottom 3....

I wasnt in favour of Woodgate as boss but was prepared to give it a go. Lack of planning and squad investment has given him a bad hand but theres also some questionable team tactics and lack of game management.

I dont want to see anyone lose their job but if we lose against Charlton then its the right time to try a different approach. Warnock or Adkins would be suitable. Allerdyce would want too much salary.

I actually feel sorry for Woodgate. A complete rookie manager thrown into the deep end given the impossible job with no money. I just think itís too big for him and canít see it improving unless we bring in someone more experienced.

Thatís all Iím saying

I like these posts about sacking the manager, who are we going to get to replace him, with no money at all. We can't afford Haughton or anyone else.

Yes we could most likely afford Adkins or Warnock, atleast until end of season and tbh we shouldnt offer anyone a longer deal than that.

Warnock / Adkins and even Pearson are all availible but more so realistic as they wouldn't demand big budgets and champo experienced.

I really believe any of them could come in and make us 'better' with the same players.

Longterm? I'm not sure where we go with reduced budget and 7 players out of contract. The fact is we are a couple of defeats away from being a short term project to keep us up.

We accepted relegation the moment Woodgate was appointed.

Everyone thought this season would be a bit of a struggle, but no one thought it would be this bad.

We have the worst manager in the league, and he's ow using injuries as his excuse.

He's played various players out of position all season, he makes changes week after week and now his first choice left back is all of a sudden 4th choice and only filling in when the three other players playing out of position are unavailable. He might even be 5th choice given Shotton was picked there ahead of him.

Its mistake after mistake, and if we do go down then its everything that Gibson, Woodgate and the rest of the bullsh1tters deserve. Its the people who will lose their jobs and us fans who will be the ones to really suffer.

He uses any reason or excuse he can to deflect from himself, few weeks ago it was the sending offs (which he painted as a positive for other teams yet a negative for us)

Then it was hanging Johnson out to dry in the media, essentially blaming him for the 2 we eneded up conceeding (not his terrible tactics and setup 2nd half). Now it's the injury list.

The man is an idiot and narcissist of the highest order.

He's lost the majority of fans now. It really is a case of when, not if.

He clearly doesn't have what it takes to turn it around and the longer we persist with him the deeper into trouble we'll be.

I do think though that if we lose this weekend he will be gone.

Uncle-rico:
He is the worst manager in the league....
He has lost the majority of fans......

The facts do not support your arguments.
We lost a lot of experience players in the summer, some quality ones, and could not afford to replace them.
He does not seem to have lost most fans who actually turn up at games. Maybe on social media, but the ones attending matches can see that the players are behind the manager. As long as they are, his job is safe.
