Thoroughly enjoyed today good away performance and decent away support . I was in the lower tier but still kept out of the rain and that was the only thing spoiling the day was the weather . UTB

If QPR are a decent side then we looked better......based on one game today.

I thought we started well and made the most of the lucky break we had near the end. But a better side would have made a lot more of the opportunities we gave them with the amount of players we kept throwing forward.

We could have won or lost by 3 or 4 today. QPR aren't a terrible team, but they haven't won in 3 and let in way too many goals. And you can see why on today's performance.

Happy we pulled it back and picking up a point away from home is good. But it doesn't leave me all that optimistic about the next few games.

Certainly doesn't leave me optimistic about the coming fixtures either.

A point there was unexpected today, fair enough .. but it's still an awful run we're on and I just don't see anything improving with Woodgate and these players.

I'm still pretty sure we'll go down unless we manage to change a few things for the better in the winter window giving us some hope, but everyone knows that ain't happening. No new signings, possible outgoings that could hurt us further even .. and Woodgate is going nowhere.

I feel like it's going to be more of the same from today. Lose a few, then an improved performance like today's bagging a point, showing 'promise' but nothing good materialises. it will be Feb/March before we know it and from then on, we're going to be knackered.

I feel gutted it's got so miserable at Boro and wish there was a reason to get excited about the future. [sad]

I've nothing personal against Woody but he just isn't capable of this job. I think Gibson handing him this role was madness, surely Gibbo has been around long enough to know just how stupid it was. There surely had to be better options. He knew we're skint, will lose players and rely on youth and freebies/loans that we can maybe pull off and let's face it, we've been woeful in the market for a while now and can't seem to get anything right.

Yet he decided Woodgate was the man to take charge of all this and keep us fighting in the Championship??? Madness.

Iím glad the general consensus is that it was a decent result, as some idiots like the ones on BBC Tees and Boro_Legend canít seem to recognise it.

Itís hardly the greatest result and performance in our history but itís certainly a good one in our current situation. People need to realise we are not going to start battering teams overnight.

We were the best team today and away from home to a team that are close to a play off position.

We will soon be mid table. Probably no better than that for the season, but next season we will be much better after moving the big earners on.

QPR are 10th and have being higher we matched them at their own ground. The QPR poor run stuff is rubbish they lost to Leeds and Brentford 2 top 6 sides and in Leeds likely champions.

Obviously there is room for improvement, but we didn't look a bottom 6 side today.

"We will soon be mid table"

We are 9 points from mid table. There is no way we could get to mid table this side of Christmas. A ridiculous statement, sorry.

"There is no way we could get to mid table this side of Christmas."

Completely false.
There are 21 points to play for before Christmas, 9 points is nothing.

I can't see us getting even half of those 21 points, but it's completely and readily possible that we could be mid table by Christmas.

Yes cos all those other teams would get no points.

If all those teams got 12 points, and I expect they'll get less, we could overtake them by getting 21.
So there is a way, no matter how unlikely it is.

I clearly wasnt saying that its mathematically impossible for us to reach mid table by Christmas - as you well know. However the notion is laughable in the real world given what a poor side we are.

depends how you interpret 'soon'

I never mentioned Christmas. If I were to put a timescale on it then soon could be End of Jan / mid Feb

There are a lot worse teams than us in the league

I have nothing personal against woody at all but he is so far short of being good enough to lead as manager itís ridiculous
The players are top 8 material and the manager is league 2 material hence we have a bottom 3 position

The fact that we are even discussing this and in this position speaks more about Gibsonís misguided leadership than woodgate struggling on lost and flailing so called management

Rob, your lack of an opinion, in my view, also indirectly damages the club as well because youíre lack of honesty letís the club off so to speak

Make no mistake: THIS IS A CLUB IN CRISIS
Fear for our proud club

ĎMuch better performance today and a great draw at s tough venue. Looks like woody has the backing of the players and weíll soon be climbing the table with top players wanting to sign for us 👍 Ď

Players are top 8 material?

Randolph - Yes
Ayala - Yes
Assombalonga - When on form Yes
Friend (when fit) - Yes

The rest would struggle to hold down a place in a genuine top 8 team.

I am really pleased that Friend and Randolph are back fit again. The next two home games are very important - 6 points would give our confidence a real lift.

Please list the "very good" performances this season. I'd say there have been about 3, maybe 4 decent ones and not one "very good" one. Certainly would love to see "many" very good ones.

All games where we played well

Those weren't "very good" performances whatsoever. Bristol City was probably the best, the others had their moments but that's about it.

All those games we should have won, bad ref decisions and appalling finishing prevented it. Football is fine margins. Sometimes we think we're getting our end away but have to make do with getting XXXXXXed off
