Sadly another long serving Boro season ticket holder has joined The holgate in the sky.
Ian Robinson , from Northallerton, long hair, beard always wore a Boro hat covered in paint.. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him .
RIP ROBBO.

Top man.
Have sat in row in front of him at Riverside since it opened and at Ayresome Park.
Would also see him at most away games.
We used to meet him and his family at Scarborough for the cricket.
Lovely family, lovely man.
Will be very sadly missed.
R.I.P.

Thanks for that as I did miss it. It's not often I know the people mentioned on these threads but I did know Robbo. He was a regular on the train back to Northallerton but I hadn't seen him in ages. He was certainly a character. Deepest sympathies to his family and all who knew him.

Sad news [|)] I first came across him over 20 years ago when he was decorating a place I was about to rent in Hutton Rudby. After that I used to see him all over the country at Boro games in that famous Boro hat of his. RIP

Anyone know when and where the funeral is. I would assume Northallerton as that's where he was living.

Very sad news, knew him fairly well, always wearing that hat at North Marine Road in the summer.
Was asking Chalky at Derby how he was doing - only other time ive seen Chalky looking that down was when his other big mate, the Bam passed away.
RIP
