Bust up - Woody and Keane- over Randolph?

Reported on another forum who seem to have insiders at the club or a very good source or the same! Not great reading. If true, it is the last thing we need. Unity is vital.

Apparently it is over Randolph being selected for Ireland when injured and Woody not being too chuffed and questioning commitment.

It's these kind of made up rumours that at a time like this do the club no favours. Why would Woody fall out with Keane over it? Keane doesn't pick the squad

Why would somebody do it? Boredom, spite, malice, stupidity. Take your pick.

If any of these are true he will be out of a job by the end of today. I very much doubt he will though.

More childish nonsense just to have a go at the club

You misunderstand. I meant the person who made that nonsense up.

I dont like stories like this. It does nothing but cause further tension within the club and around supporters. It's also probably a load of made up nonsense. The person who made it up and those spreading it arent boro fans.

I passed it on for what it is worth. All I would say is clubs in trouble are susceptible to fall- outs more readily. However we can well do without it if true. As I said we need to have a unified front on the pitch at this time.

I don't see how anyone can say its nonsense to be honest, anymore than they can say its true. None of us know one way or another.

The games not for 10 days anyway so it's likely he will be fine and would have been available for Boro too.

None story

Atypical is right.

A changing room is a testosterone fuelled environment. If it is true then it aint necessarily a bad thing. It shows they care. Anyway, if he is now fit, playing him means he sharpens up for when Boro next play.

Non story for me.

It isn't true.
It's whoppers making up conspiracies.

Woodgate brought up weeks ago that Randolph might not be fit for the next Ireland game, so he was clearly taking his international duties in to consideration.
They don't play Denmark for another 10 days yet, and it's that game I expect he'll play if he's fit enough.

Pears has been the least of our problems recently too, unless Woodgate blew a gasket after his finger injury and having to turn to Meijias

To be honest it's only one winner here? Randolph is not fit and will miss tomorrow.

So how is he 'ok' to be selected and play for Ireland. He's not fit and it should be a case of 'end of chat'.

I doubt it's true but if it is then the club should win hands down.

He's not playing in their next match, he's playing in the one after it.
Plenty of national teams call up injured players.

England have called up multiple injured players for the coming fixtures, in case they are fit in time.

I actually thought we had drafted in Pears to protect Randolph for a injury free January sale .

They've included him in the hope he will be fit. McCarthy has said he is optimistic. If he isn't fit they won't pick an injured goalkeeper, so there's nothing to stress about

Is it not the case that a player gets called up, it is then up to the country to insist on making an assessment if the player is injured or not?
