I have downloaded the latest version on my imac & have suffered with pop up contyinually, which require me moving to the bin, this just goes on
I have contacted apple online, is it safe if they look at the problem from their end??

Yes safe as long as its definitely through the apple site. What is the popup you are getting? take a screenshot and host it on imgur or something.

Have you installed something like Malwarebytes Malware removal tool? This should help with these. You're getting those messages because they are known problems, at least in the case of the first one - nothing comes up on google for the second one.

download that, it should clear anything untoward from your system.

Yes, I've just installed it, scanned my PC, restarted & everything looks ok now
Im not too good on PC's so not sure what to download, whats safe etc

Is it best to buy the software?

Malware bytes is a good software for removing threats and the like. You can buy it if you like, but mac's are fairly hard to hijack, you've probably just installed some rogue software (one of those mentioned converting a PDF?) and the free version will remove it if you just run it now and then. The paid version will protect real time but I've never needed anything like that - so your call I guess.

Guessing apple built something into the latest OS to warn you about them hence all the popup messages.
