ELO - All over the world

ELO have had some great records, IMHO, but this is one of their best, loved the dance where people seem to just join in, class

Link: Love it

Afternoon Erimus, they have just recently come back from the US after doing 15 gigs. Canít do many more in one trip as Jeff Lynne is 71! I know a couple in the band and they were telling me the US absolutely adore him
And his work.

Hello Nosmo-King, an excellent band IMHO, some great songs

I could even watch an ELO tribute band, if not the real thing

Erimus I think it is possibly only Jeff who is original. He is the star without a doubt.

Loved Concerto for a Rainy Day which took up a whole side of the double album Out of the Blue. I've got that on blue vinyl!

Rockaria was my favourite by them.

Saw them in 2017 at Wembley. Fantastic gig! Jeff Lynne is the only original but he has a fantastic band some of whom are also the backing band for Take That believe it or not![^]

Yep thatís so true. Milton is the lead guitarist and lead backing vocals with Take That. Been with them since the 1990ís. Little known fact- he was born in Scarborough!

Went to see them in Hull a couple of years ago - still great.
I loved the old albums Face the Music (LP) and Eldorado - think one of them you turned the record backwards so you could hear the words "Turn back"!

Erimus74 after years of wanting to see them I finally managed it last year in Birmingham (the Jeff Lynne only version anyway). They were absolutely superb and the musicianship was amazing. Definitely a bucket-list tick in the box.

A very close friend of mine died recently. His final tune at the crematorium next week is going to be Mr Blue Sky. A classic tune for a brilliant guy [^]

Hull Red, again, sorry for your loss. I also have requested Mr Blue Sky to be played at my funeral. Hopefully not for a good few years yet mind!
