Quite surprised this hasn't been moved to the Sunday or Friday as the Speedway GP is on at the Principality at 5pm and I think they have used the car park at the football for event parking in the past.

So I'll be in Cardiff but not at the footy.

Cardiff played Leicester City at Home last season at the same time as Wales played South Africa in an Autumn Internationat so not as surprised that the events run concurrently.

Also Yearbyred the speedway doesnít start until 5pm so you could realistically attend both.

Fair enough re the match not being moved then.

In theory I could go to both but a bit tight for timings. Don't want to spoil my sporting weekend watching the Boro [:D]

Booked advance (non-refundable) rail tickets *twice* for the Cardiff trip what with them going direct to the TfW phone app and me having forgotten about the initial purchase[cr] Easily done and an expensive lesson learnt.

There used to be a very useful table on the away ticket page that told you dates for seasano tickets, general sale etc. for upcoming matches but that seems to have gone out the window this season.

Yeah, I want to get Cardiff tickets. I'm also finding it a bit annoying that the MFC website doesn't seem to be putting the useful ticket sale info up so much now.

Still nothing about this match on the MFC website. I guess they'll be on sale later this week.

Does anyone happen to know what the away allocation at Cardiff is generally? (I saw something on a website saying it is 2200).

I'm hoping to get five tickets (going with four mates from Bristol), but don't have an S.C. I'm assuming that it'll make 'General Sale'.

(Maybe a cheeky membership on the Cardiff City site is a sensible back up)!!

Ooooh. I got all excited for a moment then. I was on the MFC website, and stumbled across a page of 'fixtures and results' with a 'Buy Tickets' button right next to the Cardiff game.

Clicked through on it, ready to go and buy some tickets, only to get put through to a 'Middlesbrough v Reading' page !!

Yup - had the tickets for this event booked for over a year, hotel and train tickets booked months ago. My first British speedway GP so it's a big event for me (and my son). Don't want to be rushing from the football and miss some of it.

Been a Boro season ticket holder for 30+ years and seen plenty of away games too, just on that weekend speedway takes priority.

I'm sure you'll be fine. I'm not a season ticket holder either and I've never had a prblem getting tickets there even for a 3 pm Saturday game like this one. It's a long way to go if you live on Teesside.

Cardiff tickets will be on sale at the end of the week.
They are working on getting that grid up online again soon of when you can get tickets for each game - the extra complication this term has been because we now have a select a seat at away games. They now need to actually have the physical tickets and all info sent through first. So the Cardiff tickets have just arrived and how they must get all the block, row and seat info then check that against the physical tickets. last eason without the select a seat that information was not needed.
But they are looking to get that deadline information out soon.

I want to buy six. Bit annoying that I now have to link them all to my own account. Oh well....

£17 for an adult - is that a typo?

Cheapest away ticket for over 11 years if true.

Maybe they consider Boro to be a 'Bronze' category game!

Edit: That said, I still can't see any info about it on the MFC website.

I still can't see anything about the Cardiff game on the MFC website (re' information about buying tickets). Am I doing something wrong, is the information that people are quoting above from a different source?

Edit: I'm assuming that tickets will be on general sale on Monday, if they do indeed go on sale to S/C holders tomorrow morning?

Thanks.

If I click through from "buy tickets" on the Cardiff game in the fixtures, it goes to the England v Brazil ladies game. No sign of the Cardiff game.

I'm still not seeing the Cardiff game on the MFC site? (I don't have an s/c). Normally the game is there to buy, but just says you don't have the privileges. Anyone else noticed this?

If fans are very ticket price sensitive we should sell out 1500 tickets at these low prices.

Lets see what happens.

When I went on this morning (at 0900), it was saying that there were about 350 tickets left, so 1150 had been sold to S/C holders.

I don't know what the usual ratio is between S/C holders to general sale though.

Only about 25% of Block 121 available when I bought earlier today.

It would not let me buy in Block 122 - either they are all sold out or are not for sale yet.
