I agree with you borotommo

But no way will he come back.

I am sure he will always be Boro at heart but he wasn't treated fairly in my opinion.

We need to stop being sentimental i.e Gareth, mogga, woodgate (potentially) jobs for the boys needs to stop, we need someone exciting to come in with his own people, someone like xavi [8D]

Him or Clough for me, never understood why Karanka was allowed the treasure chest and Mogga deprived of any funds.

Was on their message board the other day.
57% want him 'in', 43% want him 'out'.
Quite good going for a modern manager but illustrates the pressure they are under.
£11m or whatever for Ben Brereton from Forest looks like a gamble that han't worked.

I love him me.
Mind you 'it is what it is' did get grating when said on repeat for 18 months.

Strachan, Monk, Pulis,. Jobs for the boys?

can remember talking to him when he was in the Boro job a few month and seemed down beat about the task - cutting costs, moving players out and getting low level signings in...think he knew eventually it would all crumble. If ever I wanted a manager for the Boro it was him.

Really unfairly treat getting the sack after winning 4 games in a calender year. [rle]

1) We need to reconnect the fans
2) We want more attractive football
3) We don't have a huge budget.

Mogga ticks all the boxes for me.

it was awful under mowbray towards the end.
Karanka sorted them out with no money within a few weeks

Mowbray has turned into some sort of marcello lippi on here over the last few years [:D]

I think he would be great for us as a director of football.

Get someone under him, without previous links to the club, to manage/coach

I donít want him ever to come back. Not because I thought he was a bad manager but the booing at him at Barnsley at his final game was tragic to witness.

Club legends should never manage their clubs.

Mogga got the job first time on merit, it wasn't 'jobs for the boys'.

He was a promising manager who'd had success with Hibs and West Brom in this league and he was as qualified as anyone else we might have got.

This time around, he isn't the most qualified, or the most promising, manager we could get, and has stock has fallen since then. Plus, many fans turned on him, which was not nice to see for a club legend. Lets not have that again.
