Whilst we were pretty pony in the second half, every time Pulis plays Fletcher and Assombalonga up top we are far better.

Showed against Blackburn away and then he changed it.

Will he stick with this for the remainder?

He changed if after we drew against Wigan, and lost to Brentford and Preston.
Not after we beat Blackburn.

He changed it back to Hugill at Villa and Swansea and we got battered which speaks volumes in my opinion.

We didn't play two up top against Hull if that's what you're suggesting.

Well Fletcher played wider, but he was drifting in a lot, so I'd class that as Thierry Henryesque :D

Fletcher isnít really playing as a striker, he spent a lot of the game on Saturday on the left of a 5 or 4 man midfield.

No for the first 40 minutes at least fletcher and Britt were clearly a front 2, it may look like fletcher is playing wide but thatís just his playing style, run the channels and drop a bit deeper. Thatís why him and Britt work together up front.

And we definately did change it for the Blackburn game, it was certainly long before Brentford and Preston.

Just think what could happen if we played 3 up front! [^]

Monk tried it, we had no width

I disagree jlinardi. Fletcher was not up top he was wide of the midfield four.

I think the opposite, his role is deaper but he naturally gets up there. Works well though.

My point was that he stopped playing Britt and Fletcher together for the Villa game, he didn't randomly stop after beating Blackburn the first time they tried it.
