Hope bran forgives jaime, he knows everything so hopefully he’ll know Jaime has changed.
Jon on the other hand will have to put dany in her place.

It’s was an okay episode loaded with stuff we expected. Sets the scene nicely.

Again though many things were rushed. I get now we’ve only got 6 episodes this was always going to be the case.

Theon saving Yara, came and went too quickly and far too smoothly. Sam telling Jon of his real identity was again far too quick and to the point, Jon just seemed to take it with little question asked.

My main head scratching moment was with the Umber boy who was killed and pinned on the wall with that pattern again formed out of limbs, why on earth was he still alive. The scream was haunting when they burnt him.

Jamie’s return at the end was good. Bran knew he was coming but probably doesn’t care about what happened in the past. After all he keeps telling us he’s not Bran anymore, but the Three Eyed Raven

The Umber boy was a wightwalker that’s why he was still “alive”

The wights are now half way between Winterfell and the wall and getting closer

Yeah ok, I guess he was part of the undead. Makes sense.

Any ideas on what the symbol actually is?

Anyway we know the battle takes place in episode 3 so they are obviously getting closer

I must be the only person in the country who has never seen this and doesn't have the first idea of what its all about.

Is it like The Hobbit? [;)]

You are not alone, Foggy. I keep reading that everyone was sceptical about GoT at first, then you watch it and become captivated, apparently. Ian McShane offers a succinct explanation.

“I was accused of giving the plot away, but I just think get a f***ing life. It’s only tits and dragons"

I thought the symbol looked like the Targaryen cost of arms but not 100% convinced that was what it was meant to be

It's been on a few times, once with the chopped up bodies of horses near the fist of the first men after a battle with the undead, and again in stones surrounding a wierwood tree during the creation of the WW's.

I think the fact in fire it looks like the Targ symbol, is probably coincidence, but who knows.

Random question: Have we seen the Mountain do anyone since we was reanimated?

He has got the eyes and a menacing growl when we steps forwards threateningly, but what if he collapses into a puddle the second he is touched with a sword?

Only time I can remember is some drunk guy bragging about bucking Cersei and then going for a slash down an alley and the mountain crushing his head against a wall

' Have we seen the Mountain do anyone since we was reanimated?'

Didn't he squash someones skull (one of followers of the faith?) without any problem whatsoever. Made it look like squashing an orange.

Typical first episode of a series , plus a fair few reunions of significant characters which I suppose had to be gotten out the way.

Pretty much what I expected tbh

We’ve seen the body parts strewn out like that before a couple of times, seem to remember a load of wildlings hacked up by WW’s like that.

Those symbols were in the caves when they found the dragon glass at Dragonstone in the last series. They were supposedly drawn by the children of the forest.

The sign the walkers left is the sign of the forest children. the walkers led by the night king are heading south to kill them. they live on an island at the big inland sea/lake near harrenhal.

remember how the night king was created? the forest children made him as a weapon to attack men who had invaded their land. he wants revenge on the children and to kill all the living men, which is what he was created for. their magic created the wall to prevent him getting south where they live. once they realized he was after them to.

thats what i think anyway.
