Looks like you have timed that well, the weather is going to pick up by all accounts next week and be sunny and warm!

With that in mind id suggest the place on the bank going into Yarm on the left hand side. They have a large garden for bar meals by the river. Perhaps even the Black Bull out the back in the beer garden will be suitable too👍

Enjoy your walk!

I'm pretty sure none of the pubs in Yarm allow dogs when they're serving food.

I think The Crown in Kirklevington does though.

Some friends of mine have are normally made welcome in the cafe's with their dogs. But dont forget this is Yarm so the dogs are of the well trained, expensive pedigree type.

....and not out of control Staffy's

Mocking Bird cafe is dog-friendly.

I have seen Gary Pallister and Tony Mowbray in there in the recent past.

The George and Dragon is probably the most dog friendly pub in Yarm, avoid the Blue Bell, they couldn’t make you feel more unwelcome with a dog.

The Ketton Ox is great for dogs . They even have free doggy biscuits dispenser with water . No beer garden but tables out front . Great ales and food as well . Much cheaper than Bull and George .

I know every pub in Scumderland is full of dogs on a weekend. Most of them keep doing trouser coughs too.

On same thread topic if in Whitby the Station Inn is probably most dog friendly in Town with bar and lounge both ok. Wood floors and that.

The blue bell is best avoided all of the time. Not only would they not let the dog inside which is fair enough but they wouldn't even allow me to sit with my dog in the beer garden area. That shows a total lack of understanding. They didn't have an answer when I asked them how they controlled the pigeons landing on the tables
