Happened, not happening.

After weeks of government moaning that MPs saying what they don't want but not saying what they want, they vote down the indicative options amendment.

To be fair, the most important thing for the country us that the Tory party doesn't disintegrate.

We must all suffer for the greater good.

Muttley just sick of self serving MPs trying to stop it so yeah its not great but it is a form of leaving and taking back control.

"taking back control."

You think going from rule-maker to rule-taker is control?

2nd referendum

According to some labour MPs there is a very large number who abstained today on a second referendum at this time.

The priority this week was again defeating May’s deal, which happened yesterday and today it was first and foremost about extending the article 50 period, which was achieved.

During the extended period they hope that whatever deal is on the table will only be agreed in Parliament if it is subject to ratification by the people in another referendum.

The problem is getting the EU 27 to agree to an extension beyond the end of May is there needs to be a good reason for it, so next week there will be an amendment tabled on this.
