Misuse of your/you're winds my up. When picked up on it THERE response is always "oh grammar Nazis.. etc" but it's not actually difficult. It's just the English language. We've been speaking it all our lives.

Not so long ago I remember reading an article hinting that the most inclusive way forward academically was to abandon old rules of spelling and allow children to write phonetically as well as include text/social media abbreviations. Interesting theory.
