No mention of Stuani lately?

For so long Boro fans berated him, take a look at him now, more goals than Messi this season. 85 minutes per goal.

He was mostly poor for us. But who knows, was it because he was used incorrectly, or did he not settle in England? Either way, its good to see him doing well, but it doesn't change that he was mostly poor for us.

We sign lots of players who score lots of goals before and after they play for us but can never understand how they donít do it for us.

Well I think it was probably a combination of both Lemmy; he scored 21 goals in La Liga last season, would he have got that playing upfront for us in the PL (or even the Championship)? I really doubt it!

He was the best finisher at the club, a proven centre forward but AK used him to ghost in from the right wing [cr] One of his bigger mistakes for me

He was certainly a better option up front than Negredo.

'He was certainly a better option up front than Negredo.'

He wasn't but it didn't really matter as Stuani would of been the only player in the opposition half for 95% of the game like Negredo was.

Negredo has continued his low scoring in the Turkish league. We could have had a striker up front instead, that would have been novel.

Yes he was.

Plus, at least Stuani would have moved to create space and stretch defenders.

I'm guessing you didn't watch Negredo much then [rle][:D]

He would be our best centre forward if he was here no doubt

I seen him stand around and do very little plenty of times that season.

You might want to review the footage that season.

He's the one who stands most of his time in the centre circle barely moving [^]
