So Southampton appoint Ralph hasslehoff or someone. To go with Klopp at Liverpool and his mini me at Huddersfield. Daniel Farke is currently with table topping (they might be sixth I haven't looked at the table for a day or two) Norwich.

I sense a trend. The people don't want tippy tappy anymore. They want gegenpress. And they want a proper authentic German gegenpress.

I think our next manager, be it in the summer if we don't go up, or in five years time when the fans demand someone to relegate us in an entertaining fashion, will be German.
My money is on Uwe Fuchs. His managerial record so far may not be too impressive, but neither was his goalscoring before he arrived at ayresome.

Gibson has already declined Middlesbrough on rhine once before. What a good decision that was

Seems to be the current trend - bringing in some relatively obscure foreign manager to appease hipster fans.

In truth they’d prob be better off with Big Sam

Klopp's brilliant but it's become total hipsterism. Everyone had a French manager for a bit, then loads of Italians. Even Portugal had a little post-Jose boom.

To this day I'm still confident that if it wasn't for Huddersfield getting promoted we would have had Wagner as our manager instead of Monk, and I think it may happen should Huddersfield be relegated come the end of the season and we are not promoted.

That will be Wagner’s Huddersfield who have scored less goals than any other team in any of the top 4 Divisions so far.

Sounds like he’s just what we need

I don't really warm to Wagner. From what I've seen of them his teams are all the things people accused Karanka of being, and he comes across as a bit... odd. You can imagine Alan Partridge running from his house shouting "They're sex people, Lynn!"

I really wanted Wagner when we went down but not sure now after seeing him in the premiership, not sure if it’s a budget thing but Huddersfield are awful to watch.

Wilder or Jokanovic the man for me if we don’t get promotion, if we do go up I’ve got no idea.

Assuming the 'what a good decision that was' comment was sarcastic, Felix Magath didn't exactly pull up trees when he did manage in the PL/Championship did he?

Jokanovich was my preference when we were relegated, followed by Wagner.

I'll be honest, I did expect a little more from Wagner in the Premier League but I think he's been seriously hampered by budgets.

They've spent money but not to the level required to sign real quality players. Probably reflected in results this season. Seems to work the loan market well though.

"neither did southgate"

Indeed not, but there's no way of knowing which was the worst of the two evils.
