Team vs Wigan

I would like to see

Randolph

Fry/Ayala
Flint
Batth

McNair
Clayton
Howson
Besic
Downing

Hugill
Assombalonga

Would include Wing in there as you all know but itís more than likely not gonna happen, hopefully he and Tav are on the bench again to see if they can come and make an impact.

I expect to see something like this

Randolph

Fry
Ayala
Flint
Friend

Clayton
Howson
Besic

Downing
Hugill
Braithwaite

3 centre halves at home is totally unnecessary (I hate it away from home too if I'm honest).
That's why Derby had so much time and space in the first 20 minutes last time out. Hopefully we've learnt our lesson.

I agree to an extent . But we donít really have what you call a specialist right back fit or a right winger really, I think Wing back systems suits us best with the players we have. I donít mind Fry at fullback but he looks a bit out of place there for me.

I like that actually Exiled, probably change the back 4 a little bit but going forward that team looks strong and actually creative. I would love to see Wing play that position as Iím absolutely 100 percent confident he would thrive in it.

No Clayton Exiled?

We seen against Forest how badly we need Clayton in our midfield. He's our best DM!

Personal I'd go with

-------------Randolph--------------
------Fry----Batth---Flint---------
McNair-------Clayton--------Friend
------Howson---------Downing-----
------------Wing-----------------
-----------Britt------------------

Batth over Ayala purely after his last 2 displays against Palace & Stoke. He was immense in both games and looks like a huge leader in the team. He's impressed me a great deal over those 2 games.

If we go 4 at the back, our width is non-existent.

For the record, I can't for the life of me see Pulis starting Wing [|)][|)]

To be fair the back four you could probably pick any one inclusive of Baath and Flint, the only one that has to play is Friend as we have no other.

I understand your reasons exiled, but for me Clayton is one of the first names on the teamsheet. Rotherham as one example have shown us you can not underestimate anyone in this league. Our squad is full of good defenders, samey generic midfielders and poor strikers. I have left Ayala out as his last couple of games he looked clumsey at times and gave some silly free kicks away near the box. Batth deserves to keep his place.

I would go 352/532

................................ Randolph...............................

...................... Fry..........Batth.........Flint...............
McNair .......................................................Friend

..............Howson........Clayton......Downing.........

..................Braithwaite.....Assombalonga.............

Exact same thinking as me Col.

Very similar team to mine - except Wing in for Braithwaite [^]

One to look out for , Wigan full back Reece James in loan from Chelsea. Looks a good player on the couple of games Iíve seen him. Would probably walk in our team at the moment.

Keep Batth in on his showings and have a strong spine.

Randolph
Fry Batth Flint
McNair Wing Clayton Howson Downing
Braithwaite
Hugill

Ayala, Friend, Assombolonga,Besic and Savile on bench with Tavernier for me.
Tavernier on as soon as it became evident Braithwaite couldnt be @rsed.

No chance as Ayala,Friend and Besic will always play under Pulis.

Does Hopeso ever contribute to the topic of the thread?

Or does he always pick faults at other posters?

Absolute sad act!
