Do you mean compared to the rest of the Championship or more generally?

I'd give them both a 7 or 8 in the Championship, the squad a 3 and Pulis a 5 compared to the Premier League and each a 10 compared to Northern League Division 2.

I think we'll get promoted but it will only highlight how poor the league is to me. It's competitive but low on quality and without a severe spending spree all teams that go up will struggle massively.

So the squad and manager in general terms is a 6 in comparison to the league is an 8

Although not directly stated, I think it is reasonably safe to suggest the OP means in terms of ability and how they are performing their respective roles in the current league.

I will say
A) 6
B) 6

The squad lacks pace and creativity in both the midfield and up top. The manager is experienced, but keeps shooting himself in the foot like playing Saville in Claytons role, thinking Hugill is a footballer, selling the one good striker we had etc etc

If it's compared to the rest of the Championship I don't follow how both the manager and the squad can be 5 out of 10 when we're 4th in the table.

If we have an average squad we must have a decent manager to have got them to fourth or vice versa.
