Fiat workers to strike?

Over the signing of Ronaldo by Juventus. [:D]

It's about time the game was brought back to the working man.

I've just read your link and think the idea of a company going on striker over a star player is quality. Not many football fans have principals.

Anyone can spend their own money on what they want but would you be happy if it was to the detriment of your job?

It’s not from the fiat money though is it. It’s Exor money and there’s nothing to say funds are being diverted away from Fiat.

Also even the article points out that Exor will probably make a nett gain from this investment, so if you argue Fiat will lose out from the deal the same (incorrect) argument would say they actually gain.

I’ve worked in Italy and I know that the unions won’t let the facts get in the way of a good strike.

IF - There is nothing so sure that they will make their money back due to the draw that Ronaldo is. It is my opinion that the workers aren't against this deal but are looking for the owners to invest further in Fiat Chrysler.

I wonder how many will strike and then cheer him on when they play. [;)]

Hope Ronny does not fall to bits as fast as your average Fiat.

shows the ignorance of people more than any thing.

For a start the money to pay for him will come from plenty of different places, his signing is also an investment as it will raise the profile and sales of their merchendise will go through the roof. It will put the owners out of pocket a lot less than people imagine.

Madrid were quick to wave him off and pocket the cash nonetheless.
