Warming up a takeaway Parmo

It seems that in a drunken stupor I commiserated myself from the England defeat with a takeaway Parmo. I have woken this morning with it in the oven looking ok but can you warm it up without it causing food poisioning?

Yes, it can be reheated once

Reheat it but overcook it and grill the top before it comes out. Think how poor quality and dirty the food is from takeaways anyway. Reheating is a bit dodgy but overcooking it at least gives you a better chance of not being sick.

Mind you, on the rare occasions that I have woken up with one the next morning, usually in the box by the side of the bed, I simply pick it up with both hands and eat it cold in bed. Much to the disgust of my long suffering wife.

Chicken must be reheated to be piping hot, not just warm. Whack it in the microwave and get it properly hot to be safe.

Absolutely. Takes the dry, stale beer flavoured taste out of the mouth after one bite and replaces it with the delights of the parmo.

Instant fix.

You need to be aware that there is a good chance it has already been reheated once by the takeaway shop.

So it really depends on how much you want that parmo. If it looks decent and you are extremely hungover, then I think the significant risk of salmonella is justified otherwise just bin it.
