It is usual to warm against a few lower league teams.

They were impressed with our support to Hartlepool, they are hoping we can help with their survival too.

Suppose a friendly with Sunderland will mean you get a decent crowd.......from Sunderland.

If you are gonna have a friendly you might as well have a few fans there.

Boro = One man and his dog usually

Am I right in thinking Gary Hamilton's testimonial was the last time we played the mackems in a pre-season friendly?

I sincerely hope not, we don’t want these imbeciles any where near our ground again. We’ve absolutely nothing to gain by playing them. Their supporters are a sad bitter bunch with huge chips on their shoulders.

How are Hartlepool, Accrington and Sunderland going to provide competitive football?

At some point we'll need an actual test on the pitch rather than just stuffing lower league teams.

Was hoping we might get back to Scotland this year but looking forward to Accrington, at least.
