James Cook's Voyages

For those visiting London and living there - there is an interesting exhibition on the Voyages of James Cook at the British Library. It runs till late August. The British Library nowadays is very political correct and shows the views of descendents of natives of Australia, New Zealand etc about Cook's voyages.

Cook was a magnificent cartographer and for his time had a tolerant views of native peoples, in my opinion. However to others he is called a imperialist thief and some of his statures have been defaced.
