We need a left footed Traore who can then play opposite wing and we will batter this League

There must be someone out there ....

Probably being a bit unrealistic here but Patrick Roberts on loan from City, or Joel Campbell on loan from arsenal. Can't see either of them wanting to play in the Championship though.

If Harrison was good enough he would've played a part surely. Besides the fact he's not even our player of course.

Obviously not as good as Traore , but Mo barrow is left footed and a pacey winger, and by all accounts was Readings best player this season, although that wouldn’t of taken much, he might be work a look at.

Richie was the perfect signing at Newcastle, if we could manage to get a PL winger here with the assurance they can leave if we don’t go up then we’d have the wingers sorted [^]

Alan Judge worth a punt? Maybe too big a risk.

Won't we need someone for the right wing as well?

Easy_ He is a young lad brought back to UK by City in what was before his pre season in America. We have him on loan for 18 months. (If we want him).

He was brought on for 2 or 3 cameos and to get to know the club and feel at home. In the battle Pulis had he said experience was a key factor to making the play offs and Pulis was always going to go with Downing and occasionally Bamford as his wide left players.

Next season with a full preseason I think things will be different and the lad given a decent chance hopefully. He has shown ability in his cameos to suggest there is a player there.

With respect to the likes of Harrison, I certainly think he should be given a chance but next season we need to really bring in players who are almost guaranteed to do a job for us.

I don't think we can take the risk of trying players out without someone who can really create a load of chances and chip in with a few goals.

If Traore is here next season, we have to have someone else that can do damage to opposition so that if they crowd Traore out, he can release the ball and get it to someone who can take advantage of the space the opposition has left.

This season, the style of play and quality of players in attacking positions has meant we've 'got away with it' when playing teams around and below us. But, to be able to beat teams who last season were above us, we need to have much more quality going forward.

When we went up, we had Ramirez and he was really the difference between us plodding along to the play off positions, and getting 2nd.

I think we have players who are 'OK' at this level bit we need an upgrade on a few of them.

I've often wondered if the Harrison offering to us was a bit of a sweetener by City to ensure they get to have a say in any Traore sale.
I'm sure Pulis said they actually approached us about loaning us Harrison, which seems a bit odd to me.

Did Pulis not know Harrison at Stoke ???

I would be happy to keep Harrison in a perm 2 from 3 with Traore and Traore mk II

Harrison was born there but played for Liverpool as a kid.

Gotcha. I thought Stoke was in the equation somewhere but seems not a factor in selecting us . Maybe City just thought we were crap and he would get a game
