relegation. Relegation from the prem is bad enough to get the money grabbers running for the door....but with the mackems about to drop one step lower, their already poor squad will be jumping ship faster than Usain Bolt on speed! Are ANY of their squad likely candidates for other clubs....or will they all just take whats available.....ie: Sunderland? O'Shea is IMHO at the end of the road! Clattermole is a liability! None of their keepers warrant a career in anything other than Northern League! So how about the others? Cue the "who gives a toss about the mackems" and "mackem obsession" from EP,

Don’t think they have any saleable assets who already aren’t out in loan and appear to be out on the basis that the loaning club are buying them. They have some high earners who no one will want, Sunderland will have to pay them to cancel contracts if Sunderland don’t want to keep paying them. Back to back relegations don’t lie, the players they have are poor and probably sinking to the right level.

Paddy McNair looks as though he could be decent, and Aiden McGeady is a decent championship winger (although age isn't on his side). Other than that they've got nothing. Their defence and central midfield are something else!

Honeyman, McNair, Osoro and Gooch are all saleable, but the ability to get decent fees for any of them will drop when they get relegated.

"None of their keepers warrant a career in anything other than Northern League!" ... that's an insult to all Northern League goalkeepers!

to be fair to players (players in general that is, not Sunderland's) there's not much loyalty after promotion either. clubs soon ditch players not considered good enough for the higher league

Osoro will be a good player, Watmore was a very good player but after a second serious injury I don't know if he can be the same. Gooch shows promise. Kone, Khasri , Ndong and Lens will be the most likely to go where they will bring in money. Lens is a very good player.

Flute loop is right in my opinion. I'd take mcnair and mcgeady any day in championship. Nobody else worth looking at .
