What do you boys reckon your chances are against the mighty Lions - could be the playoff decider !!

Millwalls away form is pretty poor they haven't beaten a top side, Leeds are the best team tehy have beaten away. Saturday was only the second time they have managed to score away to a top half side.

We will get at least a draw against them and if we start off well I think we will beat them

Yep our away form has been shocking think weíve only won 7/9 with the other 2 being draws. Nothing to worry about then[^]

Posters on here would like to know if you are bringing more than 1000 fans. Your club only asked for 1000 tickets?

I know you once brought 1500 for a top flight game in 1988/9 when you had Sheringham, Cas, Horlock and co

jase, let me clarify, your away form against the top half sides. You haven't beaten any of them.

1 - Wolves 1-0 Millwall
2 - Cardiff 0-0 Millwall
3 - Fulham 1-0 Millwall
4 - Villa 0-0 Millwall
7 - Derby 3-0 Millwall
8 - Preston 0-0 Millwall

see a pattern?

9 - Sheff U 1-1 Millwall
10 - Brentford 1-0 Millwall
11 - Bristol C 0-0 Millwall
12 - Ipswich 2-2 Millwall
13 - Norwich 2-1 Millwall

They can't score away to the top sides. 1 goal in 13 1/2 hours against the promotion/play off chasing sides.

Let me clarify my response I never said anything about the top sides all I said is we have won 7/9 and the other 2 are draws.

Hopefully you will be the first top side we beat then 😀

IT would need to be by far your best away performance of the season to do that Jase, probably your best away performance for about 4 or 5 years to be honest.

You are in a good run, but all good runs must end.

Absolute quality game, Boro won 4-2 after going 2-1 down, Hurlock tried to be the big I am, till Gary Hamilton sorted him out [;)]

Millwall usually don't bring many up to Boro games, and half of those usually don't manage to make it into the stadium. Will be interesting to see a relatively big away contingent from them.

Lol and Boro are playing quality football at the moment- I admire your confidence but best you speak to a few of your other mates who arenít as confident

You might be right could be the biggest win - think we nicked a 1-2 win about 4 years ago at Boro - if my memory serves me right that was in April as well.

Had great joy going back inside with a smile on my face sitting with the Boro boys.

Little old Millwall are nothing to worry about. Mmmm not sure those who came to the Den in December would totally agree.

Only time will tell

I know people are quoting Millwalls away form, but our home form against the top 10 teams is hardly great either.

Both teams have a huge game before then to concentrate on.

We have had a poor home season, they have had a standout season for them.
Decent crowd, decent atmosphere, we need to win, we will.

Boro are steady if unspectacular (apart from Traore).

We are not playing quality football true, but neither are Millwall, scruffy one goal wins have got them far, but can they keep it up? I think Millwall need to win this game, because I don't think they will win either of the two other games.

A draw may will be enough for us to go into play offs, as we have a 'half point' lead through better goal diff and we will get something from Ipswich and maybe even Derby.

Iím sure the pressure for the big spending Boro versus little old Millwall will be a factor - we are genuinely enjoying the ride with no pressure. Obviously if we make The playoffs then this changes - that said the last 2 seasons have embedded the right mentality within our group. If we donít make it would love to see the other MFC make it - Steve Gibson deserves this as a decent chairman

There is also the possibility of both teams being in the play offs. Derby arent a banker.

Jase, sorry but when you are this close to the play offs, there is always pressure. The players will feel it, the next 3 games will tell you a lot about the mentality of the players for Millwall, Boro and Derby. Derby are the most brittle mentally for me.

I was speaking with a Millwall fan today who went to sheff utd last week = he said the cops were on an overkill menu - mind they wernt kept in till she utd had left, but they were kettled and took all together under escort back to the station....

anyway, he said he wasn't going to the Boro game as he couldn't get back to London after the match on a train......plus Boro have restricted Millwall to 1,000 tickets only.

is that right ?

1,081 according to Millwalls website.
It doesnt say they were restricted.
Maybe thats all they requested - TV no trains etc.

Sheff Utd old bill were a bit heavy handed however sometimes we donít help ourselves with a few over zealous nutcases - I know Boro had a few back in the AP days.

Apparently weíve only asked for an initial allocation of 1000 I believe once you request a certain number you have to pay for them - a positive result versus Fulham will no doubt see us asking for more despite it being on sky at 17:30 - you benefit from your MSS membership when following down south we donít have a northern based fan club so 99% will have the long slap by car

If we beat Derby (big IF) then confidence is high and pressure off a little as a draw against you wouldn't be a bad result. If that happens I'd be confident of the win

Should we lose at the weekend then you can flip the above.

Obviously you guys are in a similar position with a big game on Friday. Think we need this weekend out of the way before we think about our match
